Deathloop's various areas are filled to the brim with clues to puzzles, the story, and a better arsenal for Colt. Here's how to find them.

Deathloop's game world is split up into four separate districts. Each of them changes slightly depending on the time of day. Players go through each of these areas in an effort to find the best way to eliminate all the Visionaries within Blackreef in a single day.

However, there are also a plethora of hidden clues scattered throughout the island that gift Colt valuable goodies and expand upon the world in which Deathloop is set. The hidden clues listed below are all valuable finds for anybody going through the game, enriching the world and showcasing the versatile nature of Arkane Studio's most recent title.

The Sepulchra Breteira

Head to Updaam in the afternoon and a woman announces how she hates being on guard duty simply because Colt is trying to break the loop. She leaves what she claims is a gift for him in front of the Dorsey. Head there and she will try to snipe the player from a window opposite the Dorsey. Kill her and pick up the Sepulchra Breteira, the best sniper rifle in the game.

Strelak Verso

This one is accessible during the first day, but players should not try it until they can infuse weapons and Trinkets. The Ordnance Depot is inside The Complex District and marked by a Red X within a bunker.

Inside there is a small puzzle involving batteries that unlocks a big door powered by an electric lock where the Strelak Verso awaits. These dual pistols can be used separately or combined to make a machine gun.

The Safe Under Dorsey Manor

Head underneath the Dorsey Manor in Updaam to find a note from someone being puzzled at the safe there. There is a map that shows the locations of the various numbers in order to unlock the safe.

It is quite a lot of work and the reward is nothing special. All that's sitting in the safe is some Residuum, which is fairly easy to find elsewhere. Players should do it more for the satisfaction of solving a puzzle rather than the gift at the end.

Heritage Gun

Charlie has set up various games throughout Blackreef. One of them is in Karl's Bay in the evening. Players have to open up various boxes throughout the area and then complete one final challenge to unlock the Heritage Gun.

Each night the locations of the boxes change, so failing this on one loop is particularly frustrating. The Heritage Gun is helpful in combat, so it is recommended to do this one early in the journey.

The Delivery Booth Code

Each district holds a Delivery Booth. Unfortunately, they are locked. Once they are open, players can order items to different districts, making certain objectives easier to accomplish. To find the code, players have to go to the bunker in Fristad Rock.

The number is written on a whiteboard in a room there. Colt remembers the code through loops, so players only have to find the code once. It is not mandatory to pulling off the perfect loop and killing all the Visionaries, however.

Opening Up Charlie's Secret Door

There is a secret door in Updaam in a cave underneath where Charlie sets up his game. Entering it requires Class Pass. This means players first have to go to Fristad Rock in the morning and put the Class Pass on in front of Frank's mansion.

Then, go back to Updaam at noon to open the door. Behind is a code that lets Colt deactivate Class Pass's restrictions, meaning players can go into Frank's house with their slab powers available.

Door In Updaam Locked By Three Codes

This room is located on the same roof as the window to enter Colt's apartment. Inside there is a door locked with three combinations. Finding each code requires going through several loops.

Different buttons on the smoke machine in the same room mean one of three Eternalists survives and writes down their password. Once all three are found out, Colt can finally open the door. The reward is more of a narrative treat than anything related to gameplay.

The Yerhva Riddles

Go to Karl's Bay and head into the building marked Queen of Riddles to find this machine that feeds questions to Colt. The answers are spread throughout Blackreef in documents.

This one takes a lot of effort to complete, but the reward is sadly nothing. There is a trophy for playing all of Charlie's games, though, so anyone who wants this trophy needs to complete this riddle. If the player is disinterested in trophies, then it won't hurt the experience to skip this one.

The Cat Fall Trinket

This one is quite entertaining. Go to Updaam in the afternoon to see two guards by a cannon. There is a third man inside the cannon and he is shot across Blackreef. If it doesn't go off, players can do this themselves to the poor soul. Then, head to Karl's Bay in the evening and find the guy's body on top of a roof. He holds the Cat Fall Trinket, which greatly reduces fall damage.

Deathloop was released on September 14, 2021, and is available on PC and PlayStation 5.
