For many, Beat Saber was one of the strongest pulls beckoning fans into the world of VR, as the visuals of swinging around lightsaber like blades to the beat of incredible music is such an enticing prospect. Despite being over two years old now, it seems that the game is showing no signs of slowing down, as Beat Games just announced it has achieved an impressive sales milestone.
Beat Saber released on May 1st of 2018, meaning it will be celebrating its third anniversary this year. Over the course of around two and a half years since then, many songs have been added and fans are still loving what the unique title has to offer. In a celebratory tweet, developer Beat Games revealed that Beat Saber has sold over 4 million copies since launch, including over 40 million songs through paid song packs.

This milestone is obviously huge, but Beat Games reassures fans by telling them more is on the way. Whether this will take the form of more song packs for Beat Saber, additional content in another way, or potentially even a sequel remains unclear, but fans of Beat Saber can rest easy knowing that the game is still growing and will continue to be supported.
Fans of the game seem to fall into two camps, with half of them congratulating developers on this momentous achievement and the other half taking it as an opportunity to learn more about the game's future. One of the most highly requested features right now is a patch to fix Beat Saber multiplayer on the PSVR platform, and following this big announcement something like that may come soon.
Beat Saber is avaialble now for Oculus Quest, PC, and PSVR.
