This guide lists specific details on how to complete the Venthyr Covenant quest "Enacting Immediate Justice" in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Upon joining one of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ Covenants, players will embark on a series of quests to complete for their chosen campaign. World of Warcraft is no stranger to straightforward quests, but sometimes requirements are neglected in Quest Acceptances. This has a tendency to lock the player into a frustrating stalemate if they’re not sure what to do.

“Enacting Immediate Justice” is a quest reserved for WoW players who chose the Venthyr Covenant in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The quest can be taken from The Countess in Revendreth. It follows the ’'Accidental’ Arson” and “Mix, Mingle, and Meddle” quest.

Enacting Justice with Caution

From “Mix, Mingle, and Meddle," players had to talk to guests at the party and gather intel. Specific guests will express disdain about The Countess and lament Lord Andrei. Once they’ve talked to enough people, players can report back to The Countess and start “Enacting Immediate Justice”.

The Countess will want the traitorous house leader to be deal with. After accepting, the player can speak with The Countess again and select one of the following houses:

  • House Briarbane
  • House Primrose
  • House Darkvein
  • House Sourwine
  • House Duskmire
  • House Sinfang

It does not matter which house the player selects, since the game will treat whichever one’s chosen as the traitor. If players want to finish quickly, they should choose House Sinfang or House Sourwine, since the leaders of these houses are the closest to The Countess.

Once selected, The Countess will give the player the name of the selected House Leader. They will then have to track down and kill Chancellor Ylenia (Briarban), Ladris (Primrose), Codrin (Darkvein), Zelma (Sourwine), Kronid (Duskmire), or Catina (Sinfang).

Mark the objective on the WoW map and make way to the house leader.

WARNING: Before attacking the chancellor, Speak with them first. Players who are quick to attack and defeat the chancellor will NOT be able to complete “Enacting Immediate Justice." The objective is to confront them before going on the offense. Fortunately for those that literally shot first and asked later, players can remedy this mistake and advance the quest by remembering to Speak when the chancellor respawns.

The reward for completing “Enacting Immediate Justice” is 51 gold, 48 silver, and 10,200 experience. Players will then be able to start “Neither Enemy nor Ally." The Countess will entrust the player with the Medallion of Desire, which they will give to Prince of Renathal.
