The Grim Fable NPC in Fortnite Season 8 has their own set of Punchcard quests for players to complete for some bonus XP towards the current Battle Pass. After players find a haystack to hide in at Corny Crops and then destroy three beds at either Pleasant Park or Holly Hedges, the third challenge will have them looking for a Harpoon Gun. By using this short guide, Fortnite players will find out the location of the rare gun and learn how to use it.
While there are multiple spots for players to look for Harpoon Guns, one spot, in particular, will give players a better chance at obtaining one. The Harpoon Guns are typically found inside of the barrels that are home to Fortnite's fishing rods. However, since Fishing Rods are Common and Harpoon Guns are Rare, it'll take some luck for it to appear.

Where to Find Harpoon Gun in Fortnite
Before jumping off the Battle Bus, players should mark their map on Craggy Cliffs, the named point of interest on the north side of the battle royale island. In the middle of the area is a bait and tackle shop called Cap'n Carp, and there's a picture of an orange fish on the front sign. The shop is also pictured in the image below, for any Fortnite players that can't locate the storefront.
On the bottom floor and upstairs, Fortnite players can search through the barrels until a Harpoon Gun pops out. Like mentioned before, Fishing Rods are more common, so they will appear more than players would like, but just keep searching and a Harpoon is sure to show up eventually.
Luckily, for the quest to be completed, players only have to locate one Harpoon Gun and equip it to themselves. They don't have to use the gun or defeat an opponent with it or anything, but it's still helpful to know how it works.
How to Use Harpoon Gun
If players shoot the gun, it'll pull any player that comes in contact with, allowing folks the chance to get the upper hand and surprise opponents. But be careful overusing the weapon, as it has a very limited amount of ammo and once that ammo runs out, the gun is automatically discarded until a new one is found.
