In the midst of Call of Duty hacking problems plaguing the community, a hilarious new bug takes a player by surprise after they load into a match of Domination. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is by no means a brand new game, making bugs even more of a delightful (or frustrating) experience. With the game having released in November of 2020, many current players do not expect bugs to appear in the game, especially in online lobbies.
As Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War quickly approaches its first year anniversary, players have continued experiencing a multitude of bugs from chopper gunner glitches, to entire teams spawning incorrectly. With much of the Call of Duty community still worried about the hacking situation in Call of Duty: Warzone, other games in the series experiencing a multitude of bugs has been a source of both anger and laughter for fans.

For this unique situation, a player recorded their recent Domination match, and right as the match started the initial cutscene, every player on both teams spawned inside the cutscene's area. Normally, players spawn in the map itself rather than the cutscene, as the cutscene's area is considered "out of bounds." Inevitably, this kills everyone in the game in a confusing mass killfeed. Glitches like this have caused Call of Duty fans to create bug compilations in frustration of how constant these problems have become.
Though situations like these can be a hilarious moment to share with friends, for longterm players of the game they may find repeated glitches quite annoying. Understandably, the community has been asking for bug and glitch fixes from Treyarch for quite some time, with limited response. Fortunately for more PVP oriented players, a majority of bugs players have been experiencing in recent months have has in the co-op portion of the game, with Zombies featuring teleporting enemies and other big issues.
From players getting glitched when grappling Outbreak's dragon rocket, to a bug that prevents players from completing an exfil, the player who uploaded the video is one among many who are not impressed by that start of the game. Luckily, the Domination game mode allows for an almost instant respawn for each player, but fans of the game worry about the same problems appearing in much more high-stakes game modes such as Search and Destroy. Still, it is certainly an interesting clip.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
