Popular but controversial Twitch streamer Amouranth finds her channel banned from the streaming platform for the fifth time.

While the most popular Twitch streamers are known for their video game content, Amouranth has built a following through ASMR, Just Chatting, IRL, and hot tub streams. And whether one likes Amouranth's content on Twitch or not, there's no denying that she is one of the hardest-working streamers on the platform, putting in a significant number of hours every month. However, Amouranth is no stranger to controversy, and has since suffered her fifth major Twitch ban.

Amouranth has been banned from Twitch on multiple occasions in the past for a variety of reasons. It's unclear why Amouranth was banned from Twitch this latest time, and it's also unknown how long it will last. Twitch generally doesn't divulge exactly why it's banned any given streamer to the public, so if Amouranth knows she'll have to choose to share that information. In any case, this latest ban is somewhat bizarre as it's not unique to just Twitch

Not only has Amouranth been banned on Twitch, but she's also been banned on Instagram and TikTok. Again, it's not clear exactly what caused these bans at the time of this writing, but Amouranth has reached out to Instagram on social media at least to try to get that particular account back.

As previously mentioned, this is certainly not the first time that Twitch has banned Amouranth. In the past, Amouranth was banned for a wardrobe malfunction, as well as for partaking in sexually suggestive ASMR streams. Amouranth has always returned from these bans and oftentimes her return comes with a surge of new viewers, so it will be interesting to see if that happens with this latest ban.

Besides Twitch bans, Amouranth has also had to deal with issues like having her channel demonetized, which happened after the controversy surrounding hot tub streams. Twitch eventually allowed Amouranth to start earning money from ads again, but significantly reduced the amount she could earn. According to Amouranth at the time, this resulted in her earning a tenth from Twitch stream ads that she was earning previously.

Recently, a massive Twitch leak revealed how much top streamers were getting paid. Amouranth's earnings were part of the leak, revealing that at one point she managed to earn a jaw-dropping $1.3 million from her Twitch streams. Needless to say, Amouranth relies heavily on Twitch to make her money, and so her channel being banned is definitely not going to be good for her bottom line. One has to wonder how long this latest Amouranth Twitch ban will last, or if this one will actually be permanent.
