Twitch streamer Amouranth is no stranger to bans, as her channel has taken down for various reasons over the years. Twitch has banned Amouranth for the fifth time now, and there is some concern from her fans that this latest ban will be the one that sticks. Whether or not Amouranth is permanently banned from Twitch or not remains to be seen, but she has now addressed the situation in a new YouTube video.
In the video, Amouranth says that she doesn't know the exact reason for her latest Twitch ban, which shouldn't be surprising to anyone familiar with Twitch bans. There are many times when Twitch streamers aren't given specific reasons as to why their channel has been banned, and it seems that Amouranth is in the same boat. However, her video response to her Twitch and Instagram bans is mostly tongue-in-cheek, as she describes her content as "family friendly" and goes as far as to say that priests have been sending her DMs praising her work.

Amouranth says in the video that she's going to keep making content in her time away from Twitch, while also mentioning some of the things that have landed her in hot water on the platform in the past. This includes Amouranth's controversial ASMR streams as well as her hot tub streams, the latter of which saw her channel temporarily demonetized.
In the video, Amouranth also addressed the massive Twitch hack, which saw her earnings on the platform revealed to the public. Amouranth is one of the top-earning streamers on Twitch, but she sarcastically said in her new YouTube video, "I'm glad everyone's concerned about the payout because it's really brought some attention to the fact that I'm so underpaid. And I need you guys, if I do come back to Twitch, to sub for free with Prime and to donate."
Amouranth then muses possible ways that she could boost her Twitch subscriber count, like setting "some really fun goals." Amouranth suggests there could be a new meta if she ever makes her Twitch return, but regardless her subs have to go up. "It's gotta go up, though. I'm about to be homeless," she joked in the video.
It will definitely be interesting to see if Amouranth is ever able to return to Twitch or if this latest Twitch ban is permanent. Amouranth has enjoyed massive viewer boosts when she's returned from Twitch bans in the past, so one has to wonder if that will happen this time around as well.
