Deep within the region of Hanubia, players enjoying Metroid Dread will be able to pick up the mighty Power Bomb upgrade, which can help to clear many kinds of blocks off of the entire screen with a single detonation. They require their own special ammo, however, this is worth the trade for this great upgrade.

Though, after picking up the Power Bomb, some players may be wondering where to go next. Due to various hints, such as the low number of collectibles in Hanubia, one can come to the conclusion that this region is one of the final locations in Metroid Dread. As such, some will likely have an internal debate about if they should proceed further or backtrack to gather collectibles.
Where To Go After Picking Up The Power Bomb In Hanubia
Where To Get The Power Bomb
Players who reach Hanubia won't have much trouble finding the Chozo Soldier boss fight, as this region is relatively small compared to most others in the game. After defeating this fierce foe, the Chozo Soldier will drop the Power Bomb upgrade (to put it simply--a lot of other stuff happens in the boss room), which will enable Samus to destroy Power Bomb Blocks (the orange ones with eye-like shapes on them) as well as any other type of Bomb Block that is on the same screen as the player. Just keep in mind that it will permanently destroy Power Bomb Blocks, but the regular pink Bomb Blocks will respawn.

Progressing On The Main Route After Getting The Power Bomb
After obtaining the Power Bomb, if players want to progress on the main route, it's totally safe to do so without worrying about being unable to retrace their steps to collect missed upgrades like Missile Tanks and Energy Tanks. Players should feel free to explore all of Hanubia--just be wary that progressing to the final area, Itorash, will lead to the final boss fight with the fearsome Raven Beak.
From the Chozo Solider boss room, head to the northwest and use one's brand new Power Bomb to blast away the orange blocks here, which opens up a path that players should easily be able to navigate and reach the purple room that can transport Samus to Itorash.
Backtracking To Get Collectibles After Getting The Power Bomb
For completionists, getting the Power Bomb is the last upgrade one will need to fully explore Planet ZDR for all the Missile Tanks, Energy Tanks, and more. In addition to breaking any kind of Bomb Block from a generous distance, Power Bombs will also annihilate pretty much every type of regular enemy. Being able to clear the way in such an effective manner will surely leave many satisfied as they scoop up collectibles in previous regions.
