There are a lot of weapons to find in Far Cry 6, but the Supercharger Shotgun located at the CDG Oil Platform is one of the best. It just happens to be in a Contraband chest that doesn't have an obvious solution to get to.

Players will need to be at the CDG Oil Platform in the northwestern region of Yara to start their search for the Supercharger Shotgun found in the Far Cry 6 Contraband chest. The game naturally takes players here during the Diesel Daisy mission in the Monteros storyline, but it can be traveled to at any time.

How to Get CDG Oil Platform Yaran Contraband in Far Cry 6

The Contraband chest with the Supercharger Shotgun in Far Cry 6 is found on top of the southeastern part of the platform. It's in a container, but the entrance is being blocked by another container. It's easy to assume players have to blast it out of the way, or try and push it themselves.

To get the CDG Oil Platform Contraband chest, players actually have to press a switch located in a control room to the southwestern side of the platform. From the Contraband location, find the nearby zipline and ride it to the other side. It will stop just outside a building with the number 16 displayed. Go into the room, turn left, and press the red button. This will move the container out of the way, clearing the way to the Contraband chest containing the powerful Supercharger Shotgun. Go back to the southeastern platform to pick up the gun and its attached mods, without having to use any Gunpowder in Far Cry 6.

If players don't already have one of the best weapons in the game, like the Far Cry 6 Crackle & Pop Machine Gun, they should definitely equip the Supercharger. Its Buckshot Rounds cause devastating close-range damage, and it comes with a silencer and great silencer and reload cooldowns. It's a fantastic close-quarters gun, but it can also be used at mid-range to make stealth kills easier.

If players choose Story over Action Mode in Far Cry 6, finding and equipping the best gear isn't as essential as in Action. However, the Supercharger being a silenced Shotgun is a fun gun to wield regardless of damage output, and players are sure to have a great time with it whatever way they like to play.
