Players that are tying to solve the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Shield Maze gem puzzle can find help in this short guide.

There are a number of puzzles for players to solve in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, one of which can be found inside of the Shield Maze. This particular puzzle centers around four colored gems that are embedded into a wall, and indeed the solution requires fans to interact with them in a specific order. For those players that may be having some trouble determining that order, full details on Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous’ Shield Maze rune puzzle can be found in this guide.

To get right to it, players that are trying to solve this puzzle should click on the gems in this order: yellow, blue, red, yellow. Indeed, one of the colors is used twice in the solution, and a doorway to a secret room will appear between the runes when it has been entered. Inside of this room, CRPG fans will find a piece of loot that may prove useful in their ongoing adventures.

Before getting into the specifics of that item, some players may be curious about where the solution to the Shield Maze color puzzle comes from. Quite simply, there are four paintings hung on the wall of a room that houses a hexagonal table near the beginning of the level, and each one focuses on a single color. Unsurprisingly, those colors are yellow, blue, red, and yellow again, which is exactly what is used to solve this Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous' puzzle.

As previously noted, the room that is beyond the gems houses a certain item that may be of interest to players. Specifically, that item is Radiance, a cold iron masterwork longsword that can be upgraded as players work their way to the end of the game. Notably, there is indication that Radiance can only be used by Paladins in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, though some players report that they have been able to equip the sword to characters of other classes.

The longsword is not the only thing that players will find inside of this hidden location in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, though, as there is also a chest to be looted. While this container only holds some GP and potions, players should still make sure to open it when they get the chance. From there, fans will be free to continue their journeys through the Shield Maze and beyond.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available on PC and will be released on Xbox One and PS4 on March 1, 2022.
