The journalist, Ichiko Ohya, has been the Devil confidant in both Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. She is one of over 20 characters that the player can get to know through hanging out with them during free time, and as a confidant, she can be leveled up in the relationship to give the player unique abilities. Her personal abilities decrease the security level of the various palaces in the game.
