Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio has been cast as 1970s cult leader Jim Jones, the man who orchestrated the Jonestown Massacre in 1978.

Leonardo DiCaprio will add another biopic role to his long-running career. The Oscar-winning actor is set to play 1970s cult leader Jim Jones, the man responsible for the Jonestown Massacre, in a new film from MGM.
