Much of the video game industry is interested in moving forward in terms of visuals, gameplay and overall technology. While the likes of the recent GTA Trilogy remaster has been a major let down for fans, bringing older games into the modern era makes sense, especially for those who didn't experience the originals first time round. Then there are those who wish to go the other way. With a Bloodborne PS1-style fan demake due out next year, some people are doing the opposite of a remake by taking newer games and making them look retro, and Resident Evil 7 is seemingly the next to get this treatment.
