Mobile game developer Zynga announces its plans for the Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells Valentine's Day event, starring Lavender Brown.

Since launching the match-3 puzzle game Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells for mobile devices last year, Zynga has continued to support the game with regular content updates and seasonal events. This included a special Christmas event and collaboration with Zayn Malik, with the next event revolving around Valentine's Day.

Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells will be hosting the Amortentia Adoration event for Valentine's Day, named after the love potion from the Harry Potter books and movies. The event stars the character Lavender Brown, who infamously used the love potion to brainwash Ron Weasley. Players will also be able to collect vials of Love Potion by completing puzzles. Players who are able to complete puzzles on their first or second attempt will get a multiplier that will help them collect as many Love Potions as possible, which can then be used to unlock chests.

Moving forward, Harry Potter fans can expect Zynga to release more new content for Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, along with completely brand new games. Recently, Zynga confirmed that it has a Star Wars game in development, which it hopes to launch by the end of the year. And with both Harry Potter and Star Wars under its belt, it looks as though Zynga will be solidifying its spot as one of the top developers in mobile gaming.

The Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells isn't the only Harry Potter mobile game running a Valentine's Day event. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has announced its Valentine's Day plans as well, which include a new limited-time side quest as well as the addition of permanent dating and romance options.

Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
