New World's developers at Amazon are hard at work improving the MMO. The team has even announced its first server merger for December 8, which is likely just one of many to happen after. Soon after that, however, New World will be receiving its December update and with it a special holiday event. Before that arrives, however, Amazon has dropped the tentative December update on its Public Test Environment server. It has also shared patch notes for the update, including over a dozen new Perks players will be able to use.
