Filmmakers Ridley Scott and Denis Villeneuve have had quite the year. Both directors have films that are award season contenders and have also been attached to Dune (at one point). In a new interview, Scott recalls how he was attached to direct the 1980s version of Dune and why he eventually backed out from the project.
