Soulslike games have evolved over the last decade, with many games, whether they're triple-A or indie, taking some inspiration or being influenced by FromSoftware's efforts. The impact that Dark Souls has left on the game industry and with fans cannot be ignored and is still felt a decade after its release. This has resulted in several games modeled after the Soulslike formula, such as Thymesia, Nioh, Dead Cells, Code Vein, and many more. While the label can be tired out and cumbersome for some, Jon Warner, the CEO of indie developer Over The Moon, is embracing it for the studio's upcoming action-adventure, The Last Hero Of Nostalgaia.
