Most pseudo legendary Pokemon are Dragon-type, but there are some exceptions such as Steel/Psychic-type Metagross and Rock/Dark-type Tyranitar. However, Tyranitar is exclusive to Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and cannot be caught in Pokemon Shining Pearl. This was the same in the original Pokemon Diamond/Pearl where the only way to get Tyranitar in Pokemon Pearl was by trading it from Pokemon Diamond.
