It's not uncommon for Destiny 2 players to discover ways to cheese parts of the game that involve farming for gear, materials, or even the number of kills needed to upgrade catalysts. One of the most recent examples saw players find a way to skip a whole encounter in the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon by glitching into a wall and using the long-range Stasis Hunter Super in order to deplete the Fallen Shield without ever engaging with the mechanic. Eventually, Bungie removed this Destiny 2 Dungeon exploit since players were using it for fast loot, but there are still many ways to get items easily.
