Photos from the WandaVision sets are circulating on social media, displaying Wanda’s home and the Vision’s office over the sitcom decades.

This article contains spoilers for multiple episodes of WandaVision.

New behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Disney Plus’ WandaVision have appeared online. While most of them show glimpses of Wanda’s home and Vision’s office as they progressed and changed throughout the decades of the sitcom reality, one photo that sticks out has started a conversation among the fans of the popular series.

The image offers fans a view into S.W.O.R.D. headquarters, where Vision’s corpse, or whatever is left of it, is being kept. The picture shows people dressed in lab coats standing around props, that are made to look like parts of Vision’s body. While CGI does the work of turning the props into the character on screen, the image gives fans an idea of how the corpse was pulled apart.

In Episode 5, “On a Very Special Episode…”, S.W.O.R.D. Acting Director Tyler Hayward shows everyone surveillance footage from a secret S.W.O.R.D. facility of Wanda storming in and stealing Vision’s corpse. It is known that Vision dies at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, after the latter plucks the Mind Stone from his head. However, that secret footage, and now the leaked set photos, have fans questioning why Hayward would want to take the Vision apart or why S.W.O.R.D. even had his corpse.

It seems like, from the leaked image, that S.W.O.R.D. agents were either running experiments or studying the Vision’s corpse for a deeper understanding of the superhero’s abilities. While fans have been conversing on social media, what they may have forgotten is that in the mid-season trailer, released earlier this month, there’s a clip of Wanda using her powers to float into the S.W.O.R.D. facility where Vision’s body was being stored.

This means that a future episode will potentially revisit Wanda’s assault against S.W.O.R.D., perhaps following the scenes of the camera footage that Hayward shows in Episode 5. So, there is still hope that fans’ questions will be answered.

This is also not the first time that set photos have leaked online. In the past, behind-the-scenes photos have shown Wanda and Vision in their '60s and '70s attire, including the bright red sequins one-piece that Wanda wears in Episode 2, “Don’t Touch That Dial”, during the magician act that the two put up to fit into the neighborhood. Fans had also seen sneak peeks of the Halloween sets and outfits before Episode 6, “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!", even aired. The two superheroes were seen dressed up in their original outfits from the comics. With only three episodes remaining, it remains to be seen how the story and narrative will change moving forward.

Episode 7 of WandaVision will be available to stream on Disney Plus on February 19, 2021.
