Much like any title in the JRPG genre, Tales of Arise isn't short of great characters. From a book-smart, grudge-holding mage to an aloof, emotionless Renan who softens over time, the people who accompany protagonist Alphen are as eclectic as they are interesting, and are undoubtedly at the center of the game's charm.
Tales of Arise focuses on the struggles of rebellion in the face of overwhelming oppression, so having a character called Law feels ironic.
