The World Government of the One Piece world is the biggest ruling power established in the story. Created around 800 years ago, the organization was established by 20 kingdoms who joined forces to fight the Ancient Kingdom. After coming out victorious, the kings joined together to create the World Government and their descendants became what is currently known as the Celestial Dragons.
