When it comes to online multiplayer survival games, the likes of Project Zomboid, DayZ and Rust are among some of the toughest and more punishing in the genre. As one of the best open world PC games on the market, Facepunch Studios' Rust is known for its harsh gameplay and slew of brutal players that are perhaps a little too trigger-happy. That said, its popularity does not seem to be dwindling, and the studio is aiming to keep the ball rolling as it gets ready to launch February's update.
