Despite the ongoing tech shortages, which have been a plague on the industry pretty much since this graphics generation started in 2020, AMD has seen a significant increase in revenue for 2021. With the possibility of Nvidia's 4000 series arriving in the middle of this year, "team red" has every reason to want to take that leap into the next generation of graphics card technology. With that, it seems that the company is indeed ready to move forward as it announces its next architecture.
