As superheroes enjoy their newfound stardom, their antagonists must join them and take to the big screen. Blue Beetle, specifically Jaime Reyes, is getting a full-fledged feature film. Recently moved from HBO Max to the big screen, the movie is set to be directed by Charm City Kings director Angel Manuel Soto. Xolo Maridueña, best known as Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai, is set to take on the role of the alien-enhanced superhero.
