The video game industry has been consolidating over the years, and acquisitions in 2022 make it increasingly obvious how lucrative - yet expensive - development can be. Last month Take-Two Interactive acquired Zynga for $12.7 billion, Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion, and Sony acquired Bungie for $3.6 billion. Yet, as the AAA scene gets bigger all the time, indie games have thrived with unique concepts and crowdfunding support. Bad Boro is another title taking that route.
