Beginning life when PC gaming was still in its infancy, the original Doom is often held aloft as the poster child for first-person, high octane action. Even to this day, it's still inspiring a slew of retro-based FPS games that owe a debt to the classic shooter. On top of that, id Software's original titles have been the subject of many experimental mods over the decades, some of which alter the game almost entirely. But this latest mod adds one element that seems to have been missing this whole time.
