Dead Island 2 launched its first trailer back in 2014, announcing that the sequel to the popular zombie game Dead Island that released back in 2011. There's been a few other titles linked to the Dead Island franchise, such as Dead Island: Riptide, though a mainline sequel for the game is yet to be released. The game received a mixed response from critics, citing gameplay bugs and technical issues as being rife within the game, however it still performed well where sales are concerned, having sold over 5 million copies.
