While Street Fighter is among the longest running and most popular fighting game series, there are only a few mainline entries in the series. 2016's Street Fighter 5 is the current entry, with the latest major update coming in 2020's Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition release. However, Capcom appears to be teasing a major announcement in the near future which may end up being the next main entry in the series - Street Fighter 6.
