One of the most notable aspects of Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the fact that it takes place in the distant past. The Hisui region was actually the Sinnoh region before civilization spread across it. Much of the game is spent constructing the first Pokedex, using some of the first Poke Balls ever put into public use. Players can also opt to spend time improving civilian relations with Pokemon through side quests. It's a fascinating setup for a unique Pokemon game, and fans have been thoroughly enjoying its semi-open world and the many changes it made to the Pokemon formula.
