One of the most highly-anticipated upcoming games from Nintendo is Metroid Prime 4, the sequel to 2007's Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on the Wii. While it was first announced in 2017, it restarted development two years later and moving to a different game development studio. This reset saw the game moving from Bandai Namco to the original studio that developed the trilogy, Retro Studios. While the game has been claimed to be in active development, there has been little news regarding Metroid Prime 4 three years after it rebooted.
