Plenty of tabletop games have been adapted into video games. Many are digital versions of the physical experience, such as Asmodee Digital's adaptation of Isaac Childres' Gloomhaven. Titles have also spawned video games based on their lore; be it Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40,000, or Cyberpunk. However, there is also an increasing trend of video game-based tabletop adaptations, and Horizon Forbidden West opens a clear avenue for one more.
