A new Call of Duty Mobile marksman rifle has gained attention in the mobile community for its powerful two-shot capabilities and lethal headshots.

The Call of Duty Mobile community is finally getting a taste of a new marksman rifle as the SKS makes its official debut. Back in 2020, the Call of Duty Mobile community was introduced to the idea of a marksman rifle with the Kilo-Bolt. Now, players have a new dangerous opportunity to wield a powerful rifle that can one-shot unsuspecting enemies.

Players who use marksman rifles gain the benefit of mobility and improved ADS times. Each rifle can have its stats tweaked using the in-game gunsmith, where most players opt for a better sight to improve accuracy. Call of Duty Mobile fans who can hit their target can easily take advantage of the strengths found in the SKS rifle.

In Call of Duty Mobile, the SKS rifle is a lightweight semi-automatic weapon that can fire as fast as a player pulls the trigger. The weapon is useful for scoring a two-body shot kill or a one-shot headshot, but its accuracy can make it difficult to handle. Most players either use it as an aggressive fast-fire weapon or try to take a more methodical approach through long-range snapshots. Interestingly, the SKS is one of two weapons that can have a decreased mag size in exchange for a faster reload time using the 10-Round Light Reload attachment.

The SKS rifle has appeared in multiple Call of Duty titles and is often considered a powerful addition to a player's loadout. The weapon comes with a wide range of attachment options and a Legendary Blueprint known as the Particle Splitter. No matter the build, the SKS can dominate battlefields if used by an accurate player.

To unlock the SKS in Call of Duty Mobile, players can purchase the SKS-Particle Splitter blueprint through the Lucky Draw. Alternatively, the weapon can also be earned through the BR Buff Seasonal Challenge, which is comprised of eight custom challenges throughout the Battle Royale game mode.

There is a minor concern among the Call of Duty Mobile community that the SKS may dominate the game's meta. After having a massive impact on Call of Duty: Warzone, players are cautious to accept the weapon in the mobile format. It is unknown what effect the SKS will have, but many players are excited to see it added as it is a favored weapon among the Call of Duty marksmen community.

Call of Duty Mobile is available on iOS and Android devices.
