Upon its initial release, Halo Infinite was met with widespread fan and critical acclaim. With the multiplayer being shadow-dropped following an unassuming Xbox event, fans flocked to the free-to-play mode in droves, and many were pleasantly surprised with just how well the game managed to capture the feeling of playing the original Halo games all those years ago.
