Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer companion, Grand Theft Auto Online, has changed the Grand Theft Auto experience for many players. As Grand Theft Auto Online continues to receive major updates adding new heists, story content and, of course, new things for players to spend vast amounts of money on, the game has been seen by many as drifting away from the traditional Grand Theft Auto experience.
