A lot of new aesthetic elements are being tested by Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and the most pervasive of these may be its use of anime formatting.

It seems like the main goal of Kirby and the Forgotten Land is to try new things with the franchise. This is apparent as soon as one looks at the game, as it has swapped from a 2D perspective to a 3D one for the first time. There are even less Copy Abilities than in prior Kirby games, but with new abilities like the Mouthful Mode replacing them. There are undoubtedly a lot of new things to experience in this new take on Kirby.
