Call of Duty: Warzone fans looking for new locations to explore are in luck, as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Season 2 update has brought significant changes to Verdansk. From a shipwreck infested with Zombies to silos packed with useful gear, there is plenty for Call of Duty: Warzone fans to see.
It turns out that all the rumors regarding Call of Duty: Warzone Zombies were true, as the incoming cargo ship has crashed onto the shore of Verdansk — unleashing hordes of the undead along with it. As of now, the Zombies seem to be limited to only the ship, though they could spread to other locations as the special event continues. While the shipwreck point of interest boasts good loot, players will have to worry about a fresh PvE threat on top of the usual clashes with other players.

Aside from looting the wrecked ship and killing Zombies to complete challenges, Call of Duty: Warzone players can find special silos at three different areas on the map. Each of these silos is marked with a war monument, allowing players to identify them easily. Jarvdinsk Spomenik holds a silo, which can be found to the right of the Dam and right before players enter the Military Base. Zozsni Spomenik can be found near the Hills houses and Construction Site, while the Park’s Styor Sompenik contains the final silo.
With players wondering what the purpose of these statues would be for nearly a year now, seeing something finally done with them should be exciting for longtime fans of the free-to-play Call of Duty game. Call of Duty: Warzone players looking to explore the silos without much opposition should check the Park or Hills locations, as these will likely be less busy than the one near the Military Base. Inside each silo is a surprisingly large area filled with loot, making these spots some of the best areas to drop at in Season 2.
While the additions of the Vodianoy ship and silos are certainly exciting, they come with the cost of a few old areas being closed off. Several of the more popular Call of Duty: Warzone bunkers have been blocked, with access being restricted to 0, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 11. An even larger change sees Verdansk’s subway system being shut down, though with a previous Season 2 teaser suggesting that “something major is beginning to rumble underground,” some of these locations could be made available later on in this Zombies event. Regardless of whether they return, though, players fond of the subway system will need to adjust their strategy.
With the arrival of Zombies all-but-confirming the rumors regarding the Verdansk nuke, players could soon be saying goodbye to Verdansk. As such, exploring the shipwreck and missile silo points of interest as soon as possible would be a wise idea.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
