One of the biggest features ahead of the launch of Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion was that the game was getting its first new weapon archetype since the introduction of bows in Forsaken three years ago. Known as glaives, their presentation made them out to be a versatile weapon archetype that could equally delve into its melee aspect, its defensive aspect, or its ability to shoot projectiles at targets. These traits of Destiny 2's glaive are all present in the current iteration of the weapon, but they are not exactly working with all the various perks associated with them.
