When the Resident Evil 3 remake dropped in 2020, it was fairly well received, but to some gamers it was definitely lacking when compared to the RE2 remake. Although it's still a solid entry in the series, it's generally considered one of the shortest Resident Evil games, and that includes the original from 1999. One of the biggest changes, aside from the massive leap in visuals, that the official remakes bring is the more modern over-the-shoulder viewpoint popularized by the fourth installment. However, one fan is looking to change that.
