Ever since Hollow Knight took the gaming world by the storm with its challenging gameplay loop and fascinating setting, fans have been eager for more content for it - be it a small DLC or a fully fleshed-out new game set in the same universe. It took almost exactly two years after the release of Hollow Knight for developer Team Cherry to share a reveal trailer for a sequel, called Hollow Knight: Silksong, this time with a different protagonist that strives to understand a new kingdom. Hollow Knight: Silksong players will control Hornet, the princess-protector of Hollownest, while she ventures through caves and forests to reach a mysterious shining citadel.
