Harry Potter star Tom Felton, who portrayed the iconic Slytherin Draco Malfoy, has recently revealed that he was cast for the role because he didn’t care about the prior best-selling novels that the films are based on. However, to be fair, the reason Felton simply didn’t care about the popular J.K. Rowling series was that he wasn’t aware of them before he auditioned.
