While warriors aren't the top World of Warcraft class right now, there are many abilities they can negate or reflect back at dungeon bosses.

Though World of Warcraft: Shadowlands players are looking forward to later this year when Patch 9.1 releases, the next few months contain no additional launch content besides upcoming adjustments in 9.0.5. With many veterans and newcomers finally getting tired of the Castle Nathria Raid and PvP, there has never been a better time to level alts and try out different specializations. While there is a clearly defined meta, players can still bring value to a group with less-represented classes such as warriors.

Warriors have been the iconic tank since Classic and a powerful melee DPS after several expansions. Due to the Shadowlands pre-patch changes, however, warriors aren't the powerhouse meta picks they used to be at the end of Battle for Azeroth. Nevertheless, they retain utility such as the Battle Shout buff and Spell Reflection. Unique to warriors, Spell Reflection reduces magic damage for several seconds and can nullify certain spells or even throw them back at the caster. Since key use of the cooldown is vital to a warrior's success in endgame content, user Sense of the guild Nurfed has provided details of important boss abilities which can be deflected or reflected in Shadowlands dungeons.

Warrior tanks can deflect the second portion of Hakkar the Soulflayer's Piercing Barb and any DPS can pre-emptively deflect the Corrupted Blood DOT if they are chosen. During the Manastorms fight, Frostbolt can be reflected back for damage while the Echo Finger Laser X-treme eruption and Power Overwhelming beams can also be deflected. Dealer Xy'exa's Explosive Contrivances can be deflected allowing warriors additional time to DPS the boss instead of jumping into the air. Finally, warrior tanks can deflect the Crushed Soul DOT from Mueh'zala nearly every time and save their healer's mana.

Warriors are able to deflect one tick of Glass Shards zones if forced to move through them during the encounter. Echelon's Blood Torrent pools can be similarly deflected while the Villainous Bolt from Undying Stonefiend adds are reflectable. Bolt of Power casts from High Adjudicator Aleez should be reflected every time by the tank to save interrupts for the more important Volley of Power. While fighting Lord Chamberlain, warriors can help deflect Ritual of Woe beams without sacrificing too much health.

The Drust Soulcleaver adds located before the first boss get a special mention since their Soul Split can be reflected which afflicts them with the additional damage debuff instead. Ingra Maloch's Spirit Bolt can be reflected back between interrupt cooldowns while the Anima Puddles left by Tears of the Forest can be deflected for one tick. Likewise, the Decomposing Acid and Acid Expulsion pools during the Tred'ova fight are deflectable in the same manner.

Globgrog's Plaguestomp DOT will be reflected back onto the boss if used before the knockback. Warrior tanks can deflect the Slime Injection cast from Doctor Ickus which also stops a slime add spawning from the debuff. Domina Venomblade passively deals additional magic damage but one tick can be reflected every use.

DPS warriors targeted by Executor Tarvold's Castigate can negate the entire duration if reflect is used before the cast finishes. Additionally, the Residue puddles created by Tarvold's Fleeting Manifestation adds and the Sintouched Anima tornadoes moving around the encounter area are also deflectable. The Agonize cast from Grand Proctor Beryllia is also deflectable and should be prepped when her cast starts.

The damage from Kin-Tara's Attenuated Barrage and Charged Spear zones are deflectable for any warriors caught in the path. Oryphion's Charged Stomp and Purifying Blast cast on the tank and World of Warcraft DPS respectively can also be deflected. Finally, warriors can deflect a stack of Lingering Doubt to prevent the DOT from getting too high during Devos' intermission phase.

Warriors can deflect one tick of damage from Blightbone's Fetid Gas zones spawned by his cast or Carrion Worm adds. The Reanimated Mage spawned by Amarth the Harvester can have its Frostbolt Volley reflected back if the spell isn't interrupted. While fighting Nalthor the Rimebinder, Frozen Binds is reflected if cast on a warrior and DPS can permanently deflect Razorshard Ice zones for the duration of Spell Reflection.

In the Affront of Challengers, the bolts cast by Sathel and Paceran are reflectable while Paceran's Noxious Spores clouds are deflectable if stood in. Warriors can negate the Draw Soul cast and having to catch their soul during the Kul'tharok fight. Last but not least, Spell Reflection will be up for every second cast of Mordretha the Endless Empress' Reaping Scythe. Warrior tanks trivialize this last fight since the entire spell is reflected back and eliminates the single highest source of tank damage while other mechanics are happening especially during the second phase with AOE and charging ghosts.
