The summer can typically be a down period for games and game releases, and the same has been true of Destiny and Destiny 2 over their respective lifespans. One way Bungie has been able to combat this quiet period, though, is the Solstice seasonal event to celebrate the guardians and their ongoing efforts to protect the Last City from the encroaching forces of The Witness. As Bungie gears up for the event's 2022 edition, players have been given their first look at the event's newest armor sets and a few other new cosmetic rewards.
