For the past two weeks, MultiVersus players have had access to the Super Smash Bros.-like fighting game's Open Beta. This first chapter in MultiVersus' soft launch is soon coming to an end, however, as the "pre-season" wraps up and Season 1 arrives. Starting August 9, MultiVersus Season 1 will launch alongside the release of Morty from Rick & Morty as a fighter. It also marks the start of MultiVersus' first full-fledged Battle Pass, early details of which developer Player First Games has now shared.
