As players start their first races in Kirby's Dream Buffet, it'll quickly become apparent that chowing down on strawberries is the only way to get ahead of other players. Players will grow in size by having a little fruit snack, making their customizable Kirby character fall down the hill faster towards the strawberry cake at the finish line. All the collected strawberries will be totaled up at the end of each match and, based on the amount, will give various amounts of XP towards players' Gourmet Rank.
