A fan recreates the Hogwarts Express and Platform Nine and Three-Quarters from Harry Potter in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

As if the wholesome world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons was not magical enough, one player has recreated the iconic Hogwarts Express train from Harry Potter in the game. The creation gives fans a sense of what platform Nine and Three-Quarters at King's Cross Station would look like in the Animal Crossing world.

Because of how highly customizable Animal Crossing's islands are, many players have taken the challenge to recreate iconic locations. The level of detail that goes into replicas such as the "Agatha all along" scene from WandaVision or the Among Us map that was recreated in Nintendo's game is outstanding. Given how creative Animal Crossing fans have proven to be, it seems like it was only a matter of time before someone merged an island with the Harry Potter world.

The Nine and Three-Quarters platform was posted on the Animal Crossing subreddit by user mayor-hel and it has gathered over 14,000 upvotes and several comments praising how inventive the Animal Crossing creation is. According to the comments, the creator used stalls to simulate the Hogwarts Express roof, and instead of having caged owls, there are a couple of hamster cages to resemble the magical creatures students carry with them. The scene is so detailed it even has luggage just like the one Hogwart's students would carry on their first day, and sofas inside the train to mimic the train's booths.

As if recreating the location was not cute enough, the three characters in the scene have dark outfits that resemble Hogwarts uniforms. This led to some fans wondering which Hogwarts house some of the Animal Crossing characters would be sorted into. For instance, one of the comments suggests Marshal (who is one of the characters seen in the recreation of King's Station) would be sorted in Slytherin. The King's Cross station replica was such a success some users asked for the design code so they can also have the custom design on their islands.

Even though it has been a year since Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released, people are still coming up with amazing setups for their islands. Part of the reason why players are still very invested in this cute game is that Nintendo has released updates and events with new items so that players can keep decorating and customizing both their characters and their islands with cool new objects. Recently, Animal Crossing released items inspired by Mario Bros. to commemorate Nintendo's 35th anniversary, and Hello Kitty items in collaboration with Sanrio.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now for the Nintendo Switch.
