The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been around for nearly two decades and has released over 30 movies, along with quite a few TV shows. While there have been a few bumps in the road, particularly over the last few years, the MCU nevertheless deserves credit for its accomplishments. In the early 2000s, the thought of a connected universe spanning dozens of superhero movies seemed impossible; in fact, the mere concept of an Avengers movie was a pipe dream. Nowadays, Marvel's legendary group has not only made its big-screen debut, but it also starred in a beloved arc that spanned four films (along with plenty of tie-ins). Heck, the Avengers even got to disband, with the group effectively retiring in 2019's Endgame.
