Last time players left Joel and Ellie, they had just arrived at Joel's apartment and are waiting for Tess to return. She returns and the three get on their way escorting Ellie to the capitol building just outside the Boston Quarantine Zone. Here players are given more complex encounters with human enemies, while also being introduced to new types of infected.
