The ability to greatly customize and play around with the game's items and characters has made Animal Crossing: New Horizons an ideal tool to recreate scenes, characters, and pop culture media in general. This time, a player showed off how creative one can get with the game by uploading a recreation of Hercules's iconic song From Zero to Hero in Animal Crossing.

It has already been a year since Nintendo released Animal Crossing: New Horizons and it has gained a lot of positive attention from fans everywhere. Furthermore, because of the world's pandemic, many fans of the game have tried to exploit the game's possibilities to create amazing replicas which have been emerging on the internet. For instance, a fan showed in the same Reddit a recreation of the Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter.

The nostalgia-filled Hercules recreation was uploaded by user Melhunnibee on the Animal Crossing subreddit. The Animal Crossing creation is so innovative and well-done it has received a lot of attention from fellow Redditors who have upvoted the post almost 30 thousand times in just one day. The comments on the post are unsurprisingly positive, most of them congratulating the creator for doing such amazing work or just talking about how uplifted they feel after seeing the video. Some comments even ask the creator to post similar videos in the future and one of them even suggested doing The Emperor's New Groove next.

According to Melhunnibee, the video took two months to be edited completely which should not come as a shock given how similar it is to the iconic Hercules's song. The recreation includes all the muses, Hades, and of course Hercules himself, as well as many amazing details such as the vases and toys featuring Hercules. Melhunnibee explained that, in order to emulate all the scenes from the original song, the shots had to be made from Harv's island where there is a green background perfect for editing since not every single thing could be done only with Nintendo's BAFTA-winning game.

What makes this Animal Crossing recreation of Zero to Hero so amazing is how it was edited to match the original song perfectly. Every single cut is made to fit the iconic scene from Hercules with complete accuracy. Additionally, it is fascinating to see how the Animal Crossing villagers were included to portray some of the beasts from the film. Most notably, Rhonda can be seen as the boar Hercules fights and the Pegasus is represented by Julian.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now for the Nintendo Switch.
