The BioWare Gear Store announces a brand new Garrus statue for players to decorate their gaming space with Mass Effect's most popular companion.

The BioWare Gear Store is adding some brand new Mass Effect merch that should call out to the majority of fans of the original trilogy. As players get ready to jump back into the upcoming Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, the developer is releasing a statue of a series favorite companion who has appeared in all three original titles.

Announced by the BioWare Gear Store, the statue is set to release in February, meaning fans should be able to pick the game up in time to decorate their gaming space before the revamped Mass Effect collection comes out. So, collectors might want to keep an eye out for when this new merch drops if they want to scoop one of these statues up for themselves while supplies last.

The statue itself is of Mass Effect's Garrus Vakarian, the fan-favorite Turian who is one of few characters to join Commander Shepard through all three games in the original trilogy. In proper Garrus style, BioWare has decided to depict the character doing what he does best, crouched behind some cover and preparing to snipe incoming enemies. His exact pose is reminiscent of how players find Garrus in Mass Effect 2, as he takes on every gang in Omega under his new moniker, Archangel.

BioWare hasn't exactly made it clear what the dimensions of the statue are, or how much it will cost when the item finally launches at some point in February. However, given the price of similar objects on the BioWare Gear Store, it could cost around $50 like the replica Normandy the company currently has for sale, or it could go upwards of $500 to match a statue of Varric from Dragon Age. Granted, the Mass Effect figures like Garrus don't appear to be the kind of extremely high priced product and will likely be much more accessible to the average fan of the series.

Whatever the price is, it's hard to turn down anything related to Mass Effect's most popular companion, especially as Garrus takes position to do what he does best. Considering that everything else Garrus related is already out of stock, this statue might also sell out pretty quickly, thanks to the popularity of the character. So, diehard fans of the Turian sniper are gonna want to rush to the store when the statue finally arrives on the store this February and pick one up while they still can.
